About The Photographers

We are Ashley and Matt Johnson, owners of Love Mutt Photography. There's a ton of important information to pass on to you here... we're huge Cubs fans, Ashley's a U2 fanatic, and Matt's a foodie at heart... But more importantly, we love pets and we love photography so we couldn't think of a better thing to do than combine these loves into a business!

We have 5 permanent four-legged furry kids in our house. Three dogs: Addison, Ivy, and Naula (prounounced NEW-lah) and two cats: Wolverine and Sophie. Don't worry Ohio State fans, he's named after the X-Men character, not the University of Michigan! In addition to our resident pampered permanents, you will almost always find at least one foster pet hanging out in our home as well. We have helped over a dozen homeless pets get a second chance in life over the past two years, simply by giving them a temporary place to live until we can find them new forever homes. What can we say - we're softies for the underdog. We also regularly volunteer our time and talent to help several local rescues raise money and awareness for their cause. We love our animals, and are passionate about helping other animals in need to get the loving homes they deserve.
